Here at Godoy Medical Forensics, we have a strong team of Registered Nurses with a background in emergency or trauma. Their clinical skillset makes them uniquely prepared for reviewing criminal cases. We have forensic nurse experts located all over the US and are ready to testify anywhere in the nation.
Tara Godoy, BSN RN CFN
Tara is our lead Forensic Nurse Expert, the founder and CEO of Godoy Medical Forensics, and has been consulting and testifying on criminal and civil cases since 2009. Her background is in emergency and trauma nursing.
Erin Gollogly, BA, BSN, RN, LNCC
Erin has been an RN for 23 years, with a strong background in emergency nursing. She has been reviewing criminal cases for almost 10 years, including abusive head trauma, child abuse, and gunshot wound cases.
Lori Combs, BS RN LNC
Lori has been an RN for 25 years in the specialty of emergency medicine for 16 of those years. Lori has experience reviewing abusive head trauma, gunshot wound and strangulation cases.
Merriam Young, MS RN CCRN TCRN
Merriam has been a nurse for 22 years, 13 of which include care of trauma patients in the critical care setting at Stanford Hospital. She is an expert in strangulation and has consulted on dozens of assault, DUI and domestic violence cases.
Lisa Free, RN
Lisa has been a practicing Registered Nurse in emergency departments, trauma centers and operating rooms since 1993. Prior to becoming an RN she worked as an emergency medical technician.
Shareen Cronin, MSN, RN
Shareen has been a registered nurse for 24 years. She spent 12 years as an emergency/trauma nurse and then was the Director of Emergency and Trauma at Highland Hospital, one of the busiest hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Tracy Kasten, DNP, MSN, RN
Tracy has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and has experience in emergency and trauma, leadership, administration and education. Tracy’s advanced degrees were gained with a specialization in Nursing Education.
Katherine Thornton BSN, RN, EMT
Kat has been in practice for 34 years and has extensive experience in out of hospital care, including both ground and flight 911/emergency response. She has experience in adult, pediatric and neonatal nursing.
Ann Rovner MSN, BSN, RN, CCRN
Ann has been a practicing registered nurse at level one trauma centers since 1997. She has extensive critical care experience and is a Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN).
