Marcia McLaurin | RN, BSN

Support Nurse

Marcia has been a Registered Nurse since 1995; with 17 years of experience in pediatric ICU, gastroenterology, home health, medical/surgical, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, and child/adolescent psychiatry. For eight years Marcia worked for a law firm in Louisiana as a nurse paralegal specializing in workers’ compensation defense and medical malpractice defense. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi with a major in insurance, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has been employed with Godoy Medical Forensics since 2017 and is currently working as our support nurse. She has extensive experience with medical chronologies, Case Map software, civil cases, and class action drug cases.

Marcia enjoys watching college and professional football, traveling, walking, watching British crime dramas, singing, playing the piano and organ, researching genealogy, and is active in her local historical society. She has three feline children; Sabrina, Callie, and Prissy.
