Forensic Nurse
Lori has been an RN since 1995 and in the specialty of emergency medicine for 16 of those years. She has continued her education with multiple forensic nursing courses, a nurse death investigator course and obtained her bachelor’s degree in the criminal sciences. Lori has attended multiple conferences and educational seminars on abusive head trauma, child abuse, gunshot wounds, medicolegal death investigations and strangulation. She regularly reviews cases involving child abuse/neglect, blunt force trauma/assault, DUI, and strangulation. Lori has been qualified to testify on blunt force trauma, medications, medical conditions that may affect FST’s and toxic exposure.
Lori is originally from Canada and misses the snow and cold. She has an adult daughter, 3 dogs, 1 cat and a Green Cheek Conure. She enjoys camping (but doesn’t get to do much), relaxing at the beach, and sitting out on a cool night with a warm fire.
